Our Story
It started in Crested Butte, Colorado, 2007. Two long-time friends from North Canton, Ohio — Mike and Dave, better known as “Gen” and “Scoob” — were both burnt out on their jobs and ready for something different.
Influenced by their hometown spot Kraus’s Pizza in North Canton and the legendary Secret Stashin Crested Butte, they set out to create something entirely their own — a place where creative pies, cold beers, and good company came together under one roof.
Scoob spent two full years developing the dough recipe, experimenting with secret ingredients until it was just right. The signature sauce started from Scoob’s family recipe but was enhanced and refined over time into something unmistakably Pizza Lounge.
What opened on Exposition Ave became a Dallas neighborhood staple — the kind of place where you’d walk in for a slice and stay for the atmosphere, the people, and one more round.
